When we launched Sto Puzzle, we were driven by a simple desire: to give puzzles back the importance they deserve. I still remember the night we uploaded our first video, hoping that someone out there would share our passion. It was almost an experiment. In a few days, those videos went viral. The response was overwhelming and made us realize that we were not alone in this crazy plan.
On July 14th, we just blew out the candle of the first year and we found ourselves with a project much bigger than we had ever imagined. But I'm not talking about numbers or financial success (also because that will take a long time). The real revelation came from the countless reviews we receive every day, both privately and publicly on our site. Every time I read one, I'm struck by how they talk less and less about the product and more and more about the experiences and precious moments that people spend with our pieces between their fingers.
In a world that runs at a dizzying pace, puzzles have become for many a small oasis of peace and tranquility. The stories that come to us fill us with joy and make us reflect. We often ask ourselves: do we really deserve this responsibility?
We’re not saving the world, that’s true. We’re not changing anyone’s destiny. But knowing that small, happy memories are in the hands of our brand and our illustrators makes us feel invested in an important mission. It’s gratifying to read about people finding a moment of calm and reflection after a hectic day, or families coming together for a simple but meaningful activity.
Our initial goal was simple: to offer puzzle lovers a better alternative. Instead, we found ourselves attracting a lot of people who had never done a puzzle before and who are now discovering the hobby through Sto Puzzle. This got us thinking about how much our work can impact a small part of your lives.
In the end, we won’t have a definitive answer to all our questions. I don’t know if we deserve this responsibility, but we can continue to do what we’ve been doing for more than 365 days: creating better puzzles, day after day. Let’s hope these moments of connection and tranquility continue to grow with us, one piece at a time.
